Olav Thon, the Norwegian real-estate magnate and billionaire, repeated a statement he has said before; he aims to work till he is 94 years old.

He is according to Dagbladet not surprised that people in their 40’s struggle with the motivation, and that one possible cause is that when you are 30-40 you have children that take some of the energy.

He is also critical to people that wants to retire early when they still have health to work. You get into a situation where you never have to perform. It is all good to play golf a couple of times per month, but if that becomes what your life revolves around it is sad.

Olav Thon has been lucky to do something that he really enjoys, so when you think what you do is fun and exciting it will be much easier to work.
