Have you ever noticed that people that have become very rich by doing something are now selling a book telling you how they did it?

There are a lot of these things going around, and I am not saying that everything is complete speculative stuff just to sell books. Some of these books may have some actual good advice.

Anyway the strange thing is:
If this person has become a millionaire by day trading stocks or following a secret formula, why the heck do you spend your day as a millionaire writing books and try to sell them for a few dollars? Either the advice is not pulling in as much money as the writer is claiming or the advice do not longer work. And it is not a “money making secret� any more if it is published in thousands of books.

One thing can be that they have a tremendous ego and want to boost their ego even further, for example Donald Trump has a number of such books, and yes he is a billionaire.
