Pedaling to save gas
Reuters reported today that bicycle sales are closing in on the previous sales record set in early 1970s. The sale is approaching 20 million bicycles sold in the US. The reason for these big sales is said to be connected to the rising gas prices, and that people are trying to find alternate ways of traveling.

Trouble for the car manufacturers
On the same time the car manufacturer stocks is in trouble, GM is said to have a 30 percent chance of ending in bankruptcy due to a deal with now bankrupt Delphi to take care of the retirement health and pension benefits if Delphi went bankrupt. It is hard time for those car manufacturers.

Well it is probably too late to get in on some bicycle manufacturer stocks after the news hits the press.
