Happy 2007
Happy 2007, 2006 has been a good year for those who have managed to capitalize on the upward drift in stock prices.

2006
In Norway, Oslo Stock Exchange went up over 30% in 2006. With a good help of one of the big oil companies Norsk Hydro that went up 25 % on the news of a kind of merger with the other big Norwegian oil company Statoil.

The Norwegian mutual fund reports that they underperformed the Oslo Børs Index. Among the things that dragged it down was that they did not have Norsk Hydro in their portfolio when it went up. Norsk Hydro is a big component of the Norwegian market.
