Motivation speech from Rancic

Bill Rancic, Trump’s first apprentice has become a sought-after motivation speaker.

Rancic’s advice for succeeding in high tech:
Quote: “It’s about the people you surround yourself with, especially in the tech world,” he said. “So many fall into the trap of not staying with the times.”

“I still have to take out my mother’s garbage and shovel the snow,” he said.

There is no secret to succeeding in business, but people often fail because they don’t trust their own instincts, Rancic said. “There’s no set way of making it. People have to follow their own style.”

Be perseverant

In his talk he also emphasized the importance of being perseverant. He recalls the tough times before his Cigar of the month business took off.

Quote: “At one point, he went a year without drawing a paycheck. While many would have thrown in the towel, the Chicago native said his parents’ advice helped pull him through the tough times.

“Look at (McDonald’s Corp. founder) Ray Kroc,” Rancic said. “He didn’t make it until he was in his 50s, but he struck it rich with McDonald’s. He tried a number of businesses.”"
