The Times Online (www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2095-1848827,00.html) writes that Donald Trump is furious over a new book that makes allegations that he is not as rich as he is boosted up to be.

Donald retaliates on radio

Donald Trump told radio listeners, ““Some jerk just wrote a book about me. It’s the worst pile of garbage I’ve ever seen — full of lies — by a highly questionable and, some people say, disgraced reporter and a really lousy writer named Tim O’Brien”.

According to Forbes list he is the 83rd. richest person in America. The numbers presented in Forbes are an estimate of what people are worth, and Donald says that the estimate is very low compared to his real wealth.

The book

O’Brien’s book, TrumpNation was published last week, claims that Donald Trump’s empire is built on smoke and mirrors. And quoting a bunch of anonymous sources “with direct knowledge of Donald’s financesâ€? that claims Donald is worth about $150m and $250m.

Trump states he feels “betrayed” by author TIMOTHY O’BRIEN, who was given intimate access to the billionaire’s private world but was dismissed by the property king when his investigations started getting seedy.

One of the other claims is that he bedded Givens, boxer MIKE TYSON’s ex-wife. Trump fumes, “It’s not true.”

Legal matters

Trump’s lawyers were threatening legal action even before publication. Trump said the book was riddled with inaccuracies. “This guy doesn’t know my assets, I’m a private company.�
