The Miss USA pageant to be held in Baltimore for the second consecutive year
The host the Miss USA pageant is a big deal for the local area. It is estimated to be worth $3 million in pageant guest spending and the broadcast provided about $6.5 million in free advertising for the region. Normally the pageant changes location every year, but Baltimore really sold themselves to get it a second year.
Miss USA is co-owned by NBC and Donald Trump.
